Twice Cursed has many turns and twisted plots. Twice Cursed keeps you on your toes until the very end. You think Chuck has a sense or sarcastic humor. You think Jay is an all around nice got but has a dark secrets but you're wrong again. It's surprising who the bad guy is, and then Jay and April and one other have to beat the devil and win. Jay and April's love does win out in the end. Twice Cursed was a truly awesome and gripping mystery. Readers will be on their toes until the very end. This was my second read by Nancy Johnson and it definitely will not be my last. She's now on my favorites list.Product details

Hard to follow but that"s what keeps it so intersting!
Twice cursed by Nancy Johnson was an interesting book.NOT THE KIND I usually like but l Did like this one.five stars.

Why a minimum on words?
This was a very captivating story! So well written and held my interest as well as confused me! Definitely recommend it!
I could not put this book down even though I tried several times (one must eventually eat, etc.). I was temporarily puzzled by what was happening to the victims but before long realized that more was going on than just a good mystery. Because it was so interesting, the book proved to be a quick read and I was almost sorry to see it end. . . and what an ending!
I liked "Her Last Letter" good enough to buy "Twice Cursed". Again, great intro....BUT am I missing part of the book??? You get readers interested with the beginning girl getting mixed up with a voodoo curse, (which was good enough to keep me reading).…… then you fast-forward 20 yrs & I keep reading to find out "who-dun-it". That answered most questions except the FIRST CURSE!!!!! Why put this in, if you are NOT going to do anything with it, except take up space. You've got something there, now go back & rewrite it & tell us the story of the First Curse. If you include the "male's" 2nd curse, then rewrite the "worried-mother" character so she has some "parental-guideline qualities". What parent who has a 16 yr old daughter, who just learned to drive, then asks the girl "What time do your friends usually come home from parties...130? or "No dear, you don't need to help with fixing supper, unless you want to...o.k, you go take a nap...". You obviously were not a parent when you wrote this part. But you brought up a good surprise ending so good for you. Keep writing.
